Solid state batteries are known as the "holy grail" of the energy storage industry and are also the key to solving the shortage of high-end energy storage cell production capacity in southern China. The total investment of the industrial park under construction this time is 2 billion yuan, and it is planned to be fully completed and put into operation in September 2027. It is expected that the annual output value will reach 2.4 billion yuan after reaching full capacity. Unlike traditional single production lines, this will build an industrial carrier that integrates research and development, pilot production, manufacturing, and recycling, completely opening up the entire chain loop from materials, battery cells to applications and recycling. In order to overcome the technical difficulties of high safety solid-state batteries, the project has also introduced a team of academicians to lead the research, allowing the research results to be quickly transformed into productivity on this hot land.

The Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Green Energy Valley, built to high standards in Guangzhou around the national dual carbon strategy, is moving towards the industrial goal of tens of thousands of acres and billions of yuan. At present, more than 70 new energy projects have been signed in this area, and it is expected that the output value of the projects will exceed 18 billion yuan by 2025.
