After testing and certification by the Hamelin Solar Energy Research Institute in Germany, Longi Green Energy's independently developed high and low temperature composite passivation back contact battery has achieved a conversion efficiency of 28.29%. This year, it has achieved 28.04%, 28.13%, and 28.29%, approaching the theoretical limit of 96.2%. In the photovoltaic industry, every slight increase in conversion efficiency can save more than 5% of costs. The synchronous appearance of over 700 watt components built on back contact battery technology marks the mass production and landing of this cutting-edge technology.
