On July 8, 2026, the summary ceremony of the "Lancang Mekong Mine Clearance Cooperation" project supported by the Lancang Mekong Cooperation Special Fund was held in Chaizhen Province, Cambodia. More than 200 people attended, including Cambodian State Minister Li Tu, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Kampali, Governor of Chaizhen Province Binposa, Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia Wang Wenbin, and local representatives.

Ambassador Wang stated in his speech that the "Lancang Mekong Mine Clearance Cooperation" marks the expansion of China's support for Cambodia's mine clearance industry from bilateral channels to multilateral fields.
