Recently, the first Chang'an workshop in Central Asian countries landed in Kazakhstan. Changan Workshop was jointly established by Xinjiang Jiaotong Vocational and Technical University, China Changan Automobile Group Co., Ltd., and Satbayev University (formerly known as Kazakh National Technical Research University).

Chang'an Workshop will focus on the joint training of new energy vehicle technology talents, the co construction and sharing of teaching staff, the construction of training bases, and technical skills training. Leveraging the location advantages and characteristics of transportation majors of Xinjiang Jiaotong Vocational and Technical University, it will build an international platform for China Kazakhstan vocational education cooperation, industry education integration, and technology exchange, further promoting the opening up of Xinjiang vocational education to the west and serving the development of Central Asia.

During the signing of the tripartite cooperation memorandum for the supply of pictures by Xinjiang Jiaotong Vocational and Technical University, a delegation from Xinjiang Jiaotong Vocational and Technical University visited the Astana Automobile Company factory and Chang'an Automobile 4S store in Kazakhstan, and had discussions and exchanges to systematically understand the current development status of Kazakhstan's automobile industry, local market talent demand, industry job standards, and technological development trends. Through visits and research, the school has further grasped the employment needs of the Central Asian market, laying a solid foundation for accurately matching local industrial demands, scientifically building an international talent training system, optimizing the curriculum of foreign-related majors, and improving the quality of international vocational education.

In recent years, Xinjiang Jiaotong Vocational and Technical University has continued to promote the internationalization of vocational education, broaden the channels for cooperation in the integration of industry and education in Central Asia, and carry out more than ten collaborations in the construction of international professional standards, training of enterprise personnel, and cultivation of international students. The joint establishment of Chang'an Workshop by the three parties will further demonstrate the international educational characteristics of the school based in Xinjiang, serving transportation, and radiating to Central Asia.Editor/Gong Ziwei
