A brand new urban landmark is about to emerge in the core waterfront business district of Kuwait City. With strong engineering capabilities and international project construction experience, CSCEC has successfully won the local government's core office project, injecting new momentum into Kuwait's urban upgrading and diversified economic development, and making China's infrastructure business card even more eye-catching in the Gulf region.

Winning the bid for landmark projects

In July 2026, CSCEC Middle East Company successfully won the bid for the construction project of the new headquarters of Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Agency. The project is located in the Schalke area of Kuwait City, which is the core waterfront business district facing the Arabian Gulf. The project plans to construct a modern office tower with 55 floors above ground and a height of 275 meters, equipped with 5 underground parking facilities. This winning bid is the result of CSCEC's international open bidding through the Kuwait Central Public Tendering Bureau, and it is also a major breakthrough for Chinese enterprises in the field of public buildings in Kuwait, further consolidating their core competitiveness in the Gulf construction market.

Empowering local development

The construction period of this project is 24 months, and it is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2028. The project incorporates multiple green intelligent designs, equipped with energy-saving double-layer glass curtain walls, intelligent building management systems, and landscape sky gardens, greatly improving the building's energy-saving level and user experience. After completion, it will integrate various functions such as one-stop investment services, administrative offices, and conference services. Keywords: Kuwait landmarks, Middle East infrastructure

The project is deeply aligned with Kuwait's 2035 Vision Development Plan, helping the local area to break free from dependence on the oil industry, optimizing the foreign investment environment, creating an international investment service platform, and continuously enhancing the competitiveness of Kuwait's regional investment center.Editor/Min Jing
