Recently, the Siemens booth at the Shanghai World Artificial Intelligence Conference was crowded with people. On the big screen, the operating curve of a pumping station unit in a water plant is jumping in real time - through artificial intelligence algorithms, the system is dynamically adjusting the load of each pump, reducing comprehensive energy consumption by 10% to 15%. This is not a concept demonstration, but a newly signed industrial AI energy-saving solution between Siemens and China Carbon East. On the same signing stage, cooperation agreements with multiple Chinese companies such as Jinmaite Group and Titanium Tiger Robotics have been signed one after another, and industrial AI is moving from exhibition halls to workshops, pump stations, and production lines.

Pump station group control energy-saving and consumption reducing 15%
Siemens and China Carbon East have collaborated to develop an artificial intelligence pump station group control energy-saving solution, which enables cluster control and dynamic load optimization of core energy consuming equipment in water plants. The solution adopts Siemens Industrial Edge AI suite, equipped with a full range of industrial control products such as PLC controller and variable frequency drive device. The operating parameters are adjusted in real time according to water demand and external conditions, reducing the average comprehensive energy consumption of the water supply pump station system by 10% to 15%.

Digital twin shortens equipment debugging cycle
Siemens and Jinmeti Group are promoting the application of digital and artificial intelligence technologies, deploying software and hardware such as NX MCD and SIMATIC PLC to build a digital twin solution for mechatronics integration. The plan is based on virtual simulation, utilizing AI to analyze equipment performance and verify manufacturing process feasibility, thereby shortening the product debugging cycle. In the future, it is planned to introduce Eigen engineering intelligent agents, which is expected to further shorten equipment debugging time by about 30%. Platform ecosystem expansion accelerates scale implementation
The Siemens Xcelerator platform has signed contracts with nearly 10 ecosystem partners covering physical AI, embodied intelligence, industrial AI agents, and computing infrastructure, continuously expanding the platform's footprint. At the same time, we will launch a embodied intelligent demonstration workshop project with the Titanium Tiger robot, establish a digital production control system, and collaborate on the development of industrial intelligent agents to promote the intelligent upgrading of workshop equipment and manufacturing management systems. The diversified cooperation model is accelerating the transition of industrial AI from single point applications to large-scale implementation.Editor/Gao Xue
