Recently, a signing ceremony is taking place inside the headquarters building of Oman Petroleum Development Company (PDO). Representatives from Egypt's Petrojet and ENPPI signed the contract, and applause followed. This six-year EPC framework agreement not only means that the multi billion dollar project pool opens its doors to Egyptian engineering forces, but also marks the addition of a new force to Oman's oil and gas construction map.

Competition for a $6 billion project pool begins

The total value of the oil and gas project portfolio launched by PDO this time exceeds 6 billion US dollars, attracting four top international engineering teams to participate in the competition. The Petrojet ENPPI joint venture ultimately won and will continue to participate in the bidding and construction of multiple new and renovation projects of PDO for the next six years. It is worth noting that the joint venture will compete head-on with multiple international leading engineering companies in the core oil and gas market of the Middle East.

Egypt's ace combination strength takes the lead

Petrojet and ENPPI are both benchmark companies in the Egyptian oil industry. ENPPI is a well-established EPC service provider with a business covering the entire industry chain of exploration and development, refining, and petrochemicals, and has a strong presence in the Middle East and African markets. Petrojet is a state-owned infrastructure leader established in 1975, under the national petroleum system, with service coverage throughout Egypt and multiple countries in the Middle East and Africa. It is a core force in North African oil and gas engineering construction. Keywords: Middle East news and information, oil and gas projects, international cooperation

Localization commitment aligned with Oman's 2040 vision

This cooperation is not limited to engineering construction. The agreement specifies that the joint venture will deeply implement the localization goals of Oman, including promoting technology knowledge transfer, cultivating local engineering talents, and improving the local supply chain system. The entire plan accurately matches the Oman 2040 National Vision, helping Oman reduce its dependence on a single resource income and accelerate the process of economic diversification.Editor/Gao Xue
