Under the careful organization of the Land Sea New Channel Operation (Hunan) Co., Ltd., this batch of goods has embarked on their efficient and timely journey, adding another highlight to the two-way normal operation of the Western Land Sea New Channel.

Imported raw materials can be delivered every other day

The cargo carried by this first train is extraordinary, with a total weight of 2035 tons and a value of about 203 million yuan for high-grade nickel ice. As a high-value non-ferrous metal raw material, it has extremely high requirements for transportation timeliness and safety. This batch of goods previously drifted across the sea from South Asia and landed at Qinzhou Port in the Beibu Gulf of Guangxi. Now, they are using this brand new railway channel to penetrate inland.

The train adopts a five fixed pattern operation mode of fixed point, fixed line, fixed time, pricing, and fixed train number. The advantages of this mode are fully demonstrated in this transportation: the train departs from Qinzhou Port East Station at 10:01 am and arrives at Huaihua West Station at 7:24 am the next day. After a short transfer, it can accurately reach Xinhuang Station at 10 am. This means that the entire journey from the port to the doorstep of the enterprise is strictly controlled within 24 hours, truly achieving the next day delivery of imported raw materials and providing a strong supply chain guarantee for enterprise production.

Two way logistics forms a complete closed loop

The biggest highlight of the opening of this train service is that it fills the historical gap of no scheduled trains in the Xinhuang area. Prior to this, the scheduled export trains from Huaihua West to Qinzhou Port East had been operating on a regular basis. With the addition of this return train, a good pattern of two-way departure and return between the two places has finally been formed, successfully building a complete logistics loop for both outbound and return trips.

For industries such as silicon manganese alloys, mineral processing, and agricultural products in Xinhuang and surrounding areas, this is undoubtedly a timely rain. In the past, due to unstable transportation time and high logistics costs, enterprises often faced the problem of tight supply of raw materials. Nowadays, a stable scheduled train is like a reliable conveyor belt, which not only significantly reduces the comprehensive logistics costs of enterprises, but also effectively ensures the safety and resilience of the industrial and supply chains.

Radiating the border between Hunan and Guizhou to activate the economy

The completion of this new logistics channel has further extended the service reach of the Western Land Sea New Channel to the depths of the Hunan Guizhou border, significantly enhancing the radiation and driving ability of Huaihua International Land Port to surrounding counties.
