As of the end of June 2026, the scale of China's intelligent computing power has reached 2185 EFLOPS (FP16), a year-on-year increase of 177%, and the overall deployment rate of computing power facilities in the country has reached 71.4%. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology disclosed this set of data at the press conference of the State Council Information Office on July 20th - computing power is not only a string of numbers, but also the underlying fuel for whether China's smart economy can continue to run.

A three-level collaborative computing power network
Computing power is no longer a scattered island in various places. The relevant departments are accelerating the coordinated layout of "hub region edge" three-level computing power facilities, guiding large and above computing power facilities to cluster towards hub nodes. In the past two years, more than 70 computing power channels have been built around the national computing power hub nodes, and the network performance between hub nodes has been improved by 10%.
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has built a nationwide integrated computing power situational awareness and automation monitoring system based on the Chinese computing power platform, accelerating the construction of computing power supermarkets. At the same time, the research and development of the "Guidelines for the Construction of Computing Power Standard System (2026 Edition)" are being promoted simultaneously, attempting to use quantitative standards to define the coordinates for industrial upgrading.
70 large channels and millisecond level computation
Accelerating the construction of high-speed broadband networks is another main line.
