Recently, there has been another good news for the 121 kilometer railway project in Algeria. Following the completion of the tunnel last month, the T9 tunnel of the project has been successfully completed and connected. A grand opening ceremony was held on site, and representatives from all parties witnessed the breakthrough of the project, laying a solid foundation for the steady progress of the entire railway construction.

Precision construction strengthens engineering quality

The T9 tunnel that was connected this time has a total length of 307 meters and adopts a single hole dual lane design. The entire construction process, including the entrance, support, waterproofing, and drainage, has been completed. The project team strictly implements standardized construction guidelines, establishes a full process safety and quality control system, and uses technical means such as geological advance prediction, real-time monitoring of surrounding rock, and graded support to accurately avoid various construction risks. The participating team overcame overseas construction difficulties, completed construction tasks with quality and quantity guaranteed, and demonstrated China Construction's hardcore strength and fine craftsmanship.

Project construction continues to accelerate

Previously, the T2 tunnel of the project had been completed first, and now the two tunnels have landed smoothly, marking a phased victory in the tunnel construction of the project. As a key cooperative infrastructure project between China and Algeria, this project continues to update the construction progress and improve the regional railway network in Algeria.
