On July 29, 2026, Ambassador Zhang Jianwei visited the construction sites of the first phase of the China Thailand Railway project in Dacheng, Beibiao, and Nakhon Ratchasima provinces to visit and comfort the personnel of Chinese participating enterprises.

Ambassador Zhang said that the China Thailand Railway is the flagship project of China and Thailand to jointly build the the Belt and Road with high quality, and has received high attention from leaders of the two countries.
