On July 28, 2026, Siemens AG officially opened its first integrated electrification and automation manufacturing plant in Ramadan City, Egypt. The factory is also equipped with Siemens Power Academy and Customer Experience Center for training local engineers and showcasing cutting-edge technologies such as digital twins and the Internet of Things.

Precise positioning, energy transformation, and industrial upgrading

The completion of Siemens' new factory coincides with the strategic intersection of two countries in Egypt. Egypt has raised its target for the proportion of renewable energy generation to 45% by 2028, and the factory product portfolio is designed to support the transmission and distribution network and the integration of renewable energy into the grid.
