The China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing announced on August 4, 2026 that the prosperity index of China's logistics industry in July was 50.4%, continuing to expand. From the sub index perspective, market demand has further improved, with the new order index rebounding month on month for five consecutive months, and expansion accelerating in July.

From the perspective of logistics formats, the total index of railway, highway, and postal express delivery services has expanded, while the total index of multimodal transport services is in a high prosperity range. Various regions continue to innovate multimodal transport solutions, achieving further breakthroughs in areas such as rail sea transport and data interconnection, reflecting the rapid growth of demand for multimodal transport of goods and the effective improvement of transport efficiency.

In addition, industrial logistics has further improved, with steady growth in logistics businesses such as transportation equipment, communication electronics, electrical machinery, and smart home appliances, driving the growth of high-value zero bulk cargo for railways and whole vehicle business for highways. With the release of summer consumer demand, cross regional commercial and logistics flows are becoming more active. The logistics order volume for outdoor tourism, local specialties, fresh products, etc. has shown a significant increase compared to the previous month.
