On August 3, 2026, Egyptian Prime Minister Madbli presided over the third meeting of the Chinese Affairs Ministerial Committee, revealing that China's investment in Egypt has exceeded 10 billion US dollars, and a large number of Chinese companies are operating in various industries in Egypt. The meeting sorted out cooperation reserve projects such as industrial development, seawater desalination, localization of advanced technologies, communication, transportation, mining, clean energy, fine chemicals, equipment manufacturing, agriculture, and export of Egyptian agricultural products.

At present, the Suez Canal Economic Zone has attracted over 4 billion US dollars in Chinese investment in the past three years, and the cumulative investment in the China Egypt Teda Cooperation Zone has exceeded 3 billion US dollars.Editor/Min Jing
