On August 10, 2026, Ambassador Li Ming visited the city of Novi Pazar and met with the Chairman of the Serbian Islamic Community, Dudi ć, and the Mayor of Novi Pazar, Bisevac. Ambassador Li introduced the latest achievements in the construction of a community with a shared future between China and Serbia in the new era, stating that under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, the strong friendship between China and Serbia continues to deepen, and the economic development of New Pazar City is rapid, with social harmony and stability.
