On the wilderness of northern Xinjiang, the silent land was awakened by the roar of machinery. A solid-state battery intelligent manufacturing base carrying the vision of energy transformation is leaping from blueprint to reality, injecting strong green energy into this hot land.

On August 13, 2026, the solid-state battery construction project of Tuoyi Solid Energy (Inner Mongolia) Technology Co., Ltd. officially started construction. The project is located in Chilechuan Dairy Development Zone, Tumote Left Banner, Hohhot City, Inner Mongolia, with a total land area of approximately 371 acres. It is constructed by Northwest Company of China Construction Fourth Engineering Bureau.

It is reported that the planned total investment for the new project is 6 billion yuan, which will create an intelligent production line for solid-state batteries with an annual output of 10 GWh. At the same time, supporting production plants such as battery cells and polarizer will be built, as well as research and development centers, office complexes, employee dormitories, and various basic supporting facilities in the factory area. The overall planning of the project covers an area of 1000 acres and adopts a phased construction and phased production model, which is divided into three phases of construction. The first, second, and third phases will each invest 2 billion yuan, with plans to construct a solid-state battery production line with an annual output of 10 GWh and related supporting facilities for each phase.
