On August 13, 2026, the Safe Water Supply Project supported by China's Technical Assistance for Schistosomiasis Prevention and Control in Zanzibar was unveiled in Kizimkazi, Zanzibar. Chinese Consul General in Zanzibar, Li Qianghua, Tanzanian Minister of Water Resources, Juma Aweiso, Deputy Minister of Education and Science and Technology, Vanu Hafide Amer, and representatives of the Chinese aid to the tuberculosis control group attended the event.

Consul General Li Qianghua stated that this project is a vivid embodiment of the health cooperation and friendly relationship between China and Tanzania and China and Saudi Arabia. China is willing to strengthen cooperation with Tanzania and Tanzania in various fields, and transform more cooperation achievements into a sense of gain and happiness for the local people.
