On August 14-15, 2026, Ambassador Chen Mingjian visited the Yudi Technology Graphite Mine Project in Morogoro Province, Tanzania to investigate the construction of the Tanzania Zambia Railway Station and along the line, accompanied by our embassy counselor Chu Kun.

In the graphite mine project, Ambassador Chen conducted on-site inspections of key areas such as the mining and stripping work area, the beneficiation plant, etc., to understand the project progress, guide safety production, and have discussions with the project leader and employees. Ambassador Chen expressed condolences to frontline workers, urging the company to strengthen its confidence in development, promote project construction, ensure safe production, and adhere to lawful and compliant operations, actively assume social responsibilities, and contribute to promoting pragmatic cooperation between China and Tanzania.

At the Kisaki Station of the Tanzania Zambia Railway, Ambassador Chen, accompanied by station staff, conducted research on the station, dispatch room, freight yard, and other places to understand the actual operation of the railway.Editor/Min Jing
