The flagship infrastructure project in Malaysia has reached a critical milestone, with the official launch of dynamic detection and fault free operation of the East Coast Railway at the Emag Station in Selangor. As a benchmark project for China Malaysia cooperation, this project is steadily advancing and is about to be completed and delivered, injecting new impetus into the upgrading of local transportation and economic quality.

On August 14, 2026, the launch ceremony for dynamic detection and fault free operation of the East Coast Railway in Malaysia was successfully held. Malaysian Minister of Transport Lu Zhaofu and CCCC General Manager Zhang Bingnan attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. Representatives from multiple countries, including Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia Ouyang Yujing, attended the event. The overall construction progress of the current project has exceeded 95%. The launch of this inspection marks the official transition of the project from the construction phase to the acceptance, delivery, and operation preparation phase.

Deeply cultivate the territory and create benchmark projects

Zhang Bingnan highly recognized the support from all walks of life for the project, pointing out that the East Malaysia Railway is the core flagship project of the high-quality joint construction of the the Belt and Road between China and Malaysia.
