Five intelligent computing related projects in Shaoguan, Dongguan, Guangzhou, and Shantou have been successively registered and approved, with a total investment of 3.45 billion yuan. The comprehensive layout of intelligent computing infrastructure in the Greater Bay Area is rapidly taking shape.

Regional differentiation layout forms complementarity

Projects in different cities have taken completely different construction paths based on local endowments. The Greater Bay Area Computer Collaborative Integrated Intelligent Computing Center in Shaoguan has landed in the High tech Zone, and the construction of the computing power center power center and supporting facilities will be promoted in two phases. The total IT load is 25MW, equivalent to 10000 2.5kW standard cabinets, relying on the advantages of land and energy costs in northern Guangdong to create a large-scale computing power carrying base.

The Taichuan Artificial Intelligence Computing Center in Shantou is anchored in cross-border service positioning, constructing a 30000KW scale IDC room and a 100000 square meter supporting park, connecting to the international dedicated lines of the three major operators, and focusing on serving enterprise digitalization and overseas business. Dongguan relies on existing mature data center resources and has implemented two existing renovation projects in three areas of Shatin, Liaobu, and Guancheng. Without the need for large-scale construction, high-performance AI servers can be directly installed in existing data centers, quickly forming a large-scale computing resource pool.

Comprehensive upgrade of core scene coverage capability

The Guangzhou Pazhou Computing Valley Xin Yue Intelligent Computing Center has landed on the Pazhou South area plot, with a total installed capacity of nearly 7MW and a peak computing power of 6485PFLOPS, directly providing nearby computing power support to the Pazhou digital industry cluster.

The AI computing platform of Dongguan's Smart Radio and Television Intelligent Computing Center adopts a dual cluster mode of pure domestic self-developed computing cluster and a hybrid architecture of domestic and overseas high-end GPUs, fully adapting to the government AI radio and television security business of the information and innovation system, realizing the complementary advantages of domestic chips and international high-end chips, and meeting the computing power needs of security and compliance.

Different projects cover diverse scenarios such as large-scale model training, inference, ultra high definition rendering, AI digital human cross-border computing power scheduling, forming a complete service chain from basic computing power supply to vertical scene customization.
