On August 19, 2026, the 300MW/600MWh centralized shared energy storage power station officially started construction in the Liuzhou Industrial Waste Material Circular Economy Industrial Park in Guangxi. The project, with a total investment of 715 million yuan, is a key milestone for Liujiang District to anchor the dual carbon target and optimize the regional energy structure. It also provides an important energy storage support link for the construction of a new power system in central Guangxi.

Demonstration positioning of green layout anchoring area for the entire chain

The project plans to build an integrated service system for wind solar energy storage and charging power grid, which fully conforms to the industrial background of Liujiang District Circular Economy Industrial Park. After the project is put into operation, it is expected to have an annual output value of 168 million yuan. The core positioning will be the demonstration project of wind storage integrated green energy in the central Guangxi region, which will open up the entire chain channel of renewable energy from production to consumption. Unlike traditional isolated energy storage sites, it relies on the industrial waste material recycling system of the park and will also explore the resource recycling and reuse path of the entire life cycle of energy storage power stations, further amplifying the green attributes of the project.

Hierarchical leap in power grid regulation capability

Previously, the scale of new energy grid connection in Liujiang District and surrounding areas continued to expand, and the pressure of power grid consumption and peak shaving increased synchronously. After the completion of this shared energy storage power station, it will comprehensively enhance the comprehensive capacity of regional power grid for peak shaving, frequency regulation, emergency energy storage, and load guarantee, and solve the volatility and intermittency problems of new energy generation in a targeted manner.
