Casablanca is advancing the construction of a large-scale integrated transportation hub. Around Casanan Station, the implementation of road, bridge, tunnel and other connecting projects has been accelerated, with an investment of 341 million Moroccan dirhams in supporting infrastructure. The funds are only used for surrounding supporting facilities and do not include the construction of the station itself. Synchronized deployment of road network upgrade

Casanan Station is a key node on the extension of the Ganitra Marrakesh high-speed railway line, positioned as a large-scale integrated railway hub. The site is located in the southern part of Casablanca, adjacent to multiple urban main roads and connected to the Naxin urban development project. The station serves as a hub for high-speed rail, conventional rail, regional rail, and urban bus transfers, with a building area of over 21900 square meters. It is the core railway gateway of the local area, and the project will reshape the transportation pattern in southern Casablanca.

341 million dirhams of matching funds will be used for road network renovation, consisting of 8 projects, mainly including 2 underpasses, 450 meters of bridges, the construction of 700 meters of new roads, the widening and upgrading of 3.1 kilometers of existing roads, and the simultaneous construction of ramps and traffic nodes. The series of projects aims to upgrade a single high-speed railway station into a fully functional integrated transportation hub.

The supply chain opportunity window opens

At present, Casanan Station has entered the substantive construction stage, and the earthwork, line construction, municipal relocation and other projects in the area are progressing in an orderly manner. In June 2026, Sogia Company won the bid for the main project of the station worth 945 million dirhams. This project consists of the main body of the station, railway lines, road bridges and tunnels, municipal renovation, and bus connections, forming a complete large-scale infrastructure project group. The general contracting of the project has been determined, and domestic enterprises do not need to compete for the main general contracting project.
