In order to upgrade the local urban transportation system, a delegation from Rosario, Argentina went to Mexico City to learn and draw on mature operation and maintenance experience. At the same time, they actively connected with China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation, promoted local rail transit projects, and sought opportunities for cross-border cooperation.

Learn from overseas experience
Recently, Argentine Congressman Diego Giuliano and Rosario City Councilor Juan Monteverde led a team to Mexico City to inspect public transportation construction. The delegation had in-depth exchanges with local authorities and technical experts, systematically studied the planning, construction, operation management, and resource integration models of large-scale transportation networks, visited railway operation facilities and vehicle maintenance workshops on site, and focused on researching the implementation path of multi standard transportation integration development, accumulating reference experience for the upgrading of transportation in the Rosario metropolitan area.
Coordinate with CRRC for cooperation
During the inspection period, the delegation took the initiative to promote the Rosario Metro and Phase I rail transit project to CRRC, and conducted in-depth communication on the overall planning, technical implementation plan, and cooperation mode of the project. It is reported that the first phase of the project plans two lines, supporting independent dedicated lanes and pure electric articulated vehicles, to help build a modern comprehensive rail transit system in the local area. As early as November 2023, local officials had discussed with China Railway Construction Corporation and submitted subway design proposals, continuing to promote cooperation and layout with China's infrastructure construction. With the continuous expansion of the city, Rosario urgently needs to implement transportation projects through technology introduction and international cooperation. This negotiation further solidifies the foundation for Chinese enterprises to deeply cultivate the Latin American rail transit market.
