On August 19, 2026, a container train loaded with 3000 tons of alumina departed from the new cargo yard of Fangchenggang Station and headed towards Wudong Station in Xinjiang. This is the first alumina container train from Fangcheng Port to Xinjiang, marking the official launch of a new alumina logistics channel from the local area to the northwest.

Accurately meet the needs of enterprises

Aluminum oxide is an important basic raw material in the metallurgical industry, widely used in electrolytic aluminum smelting and refractory material production. The staff of Fangchenggang Station of Nanning Bureau Group visited and researched, and learned that local alumina enterprises will add two new production lines in July 2026, and their production capacity will continue to increase, urgently needing to explore the northwest market of Xinjiang. The station proactively connects with enterprises, understands production capacity and shipping needs, customizes logistics and shipping plans, and creates a long-term transportation channel with Wudong Station as the main station and Zhundo Station and Shihezi Station as auxiliary stations. At the same time, we will promote door-to-door freight forwarding services, coordinate with MTR logistics to complete front-end operations such as container filling and allocation, simplify the shipping process, and effectively reduce the overall logistics costs of enterprises.

To ensure the smooth operation of trains, the station coordinates the allocation of transportation capacity, optimizes the loading organization process, opens green channels, implements priority allocation of air, priority loading, and priority hanging, and fully guarantees the safe and stable operation of trains.
