The construction site of the China Russia Cross border Smart Logistics Hub and International Commodity Distribution Center in Dongning City, Heilongjiang Province, is bustling with activity. More than 200 construction workers are working simultaneously, and each process is progressing efficiently and orderly. The project construction has pressed the accelerator button.

It is reported that the total investment of the project is 250 million yuan, with construction starting in 2026 and completion and commissioning in 2027. The project focuses on the construction of three main buildings: distribution, inspection and quarantine, and intelligent three-dimensional warehousing, while simultaneously improving related supporting infrastructure.

 After completion, it will achieve integrated operations of warehousing, distribution, and inspection, effectively improving the efficiency of China's customs clearance with Russia, reducing cross-border logistics costs, and promoting the accelerated transformation of the channel economy into an industrial economy.

As an important measure to enhance the trade function of Dongning City with Russia, fill the regional international logistics gap, and support local industrial upgrading, the project is a key project to implement the national border opening strategy, improve people's livelihoods in border areas, and practice the concept of green development.
