In late August, a brand new cylindrical lithium battery production base officially broke ground in the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps New Building Materials Economic and Technological Development Zone. As another new increment in the local new energy battery industry in Xinjiang, the landing of this 3GWh production capacity project is filling a key manufacturing link for the northwest energy storage and new energy consumption market.

Dual technology roadmap covers diverse scenarios
The total planned land area of the project is 101 acres, with a total construction area of 44500 square meters. It adopts a parallel layout of ternary and lithium iron phosphate dual technology routes. The planned production capacity of the ternary system is 2GWh, and the products cover mainstream cylindrical battery specifications such as 18650 and 21700, targeting segmented application scenarios such as electric tools and two wheelers.
The planned production capacity of the lithium iron phosphate system is 1GWh, with a focus on 32140 large-sized cylindrical batteries, serving high stability demand areas such as source grid side energy storage and outdoor power supply. The simultaneous promotion of two technological routes enables the project products to cover diverse markets ranging from consumer new energy to large-scale energy storage, with outstanding adaptability advantages.
Capital technology dual wheel drive landing in Xinjiang
The project operator, Xinjiang Jinlinhuike Energy Technology Co., Ltd., was established in January 2026 with a registered capital of 10 million yuan and registered in Wujiaqu City, Xinjiang. The enterprise is jointly owned by Huashang Huike Shandong Investment Co., Ltd. and Qiliyuan New Energy Guangdong Co., Ltd., holding 51% and 49% of the shares respectively, forming a dual wheel drive model that deeply binds capital and technology, providing solid support for the rapid construction, production, and subsequent market expansion of the project.
