In August 2026, the Southwest Lithium Battery Materials Circuit received a heavyweight investment, and Lihe Houpu officially signed a contract with Gulin County, Luzhou, Sichuan Province for the recycling of lithium battery materials. The industrial project with a total investment of 5 billion yuan has landed in a national level green industrial park, injecting new growth momentum into the transformation of traditional energy industries in southern Sichuan towards new energy.

Southwest core node layout finalized

The project is located in Gulin Economic Development Zone and will be constructed in two phases, with an annual output of 60000 tons of lithium containing ternary precursor production line and an annual output of 20000 tons of MHP refining line. After the project is fully completed and put into operation, it is expected to achieve an annual sales revenue of over 7 billion yuan and an annual net profit of 500 million yuan. This is a milestone project in the strategic layout of Lihe Houpu in the southwest region, and it is also a key support for the enterprise to strive for a target output value of billions. From the initial on-site inspection to the final signing, the docking period between the two parties was only over a month, and the landing efficiency far exceeded the average level of similar projects in the region.

Continuous expansion of industrial depth

Lihe Houpu was officially established in April 2018 with a registered capital of 262 million yuan. Its headquarters is located in Zhuzhou Economic Development Zone, Hunan Province, and it is invested and incubated by Tsinghua University Research Institute in Shenzhen and Lihe Science and Technology Innovation Group. It is a major project for the industrialization of scientific and technological achievements. The core business of the enterprise covers the research and development, production, and sales of lithium battery cathode materials, lithium containing ternary oxides, as well as the recycling of waste lithium battery cathode materials. As early as November 2025, the company signed a contract in Beihai, Guangxi to implement a new generation of green and low-carbon ternary lithium battery materials project with an annual output of 100000 tons, forming a linkage between the two major production bases in Southwest and South China, further expanding the industrial map.

Starting from Zhuzhou, Hunan and completing cross regional layout in Beihai, Guangxi and Gulin, Sichuan, Lihe Houpu is rapidly building a lithium battery material recycling industry network covering southern and southwestern China.
