In this land transportation fleet, some heavy trucks are equipped with intelligent mobile battery swapping systems, which support flexible battery capacity between 430 and 860 kilowatts and can complete the entire battery swapping operation within 5 minutes, providing reliable green power guarantee for long-distance cross-border transportation. Compared to traditional sea freight routes, this land route can compress the entire transportation cycle by nearly six weeks, greatly improving delivery efficiency and significantly reducing the carbon emission intensity of unit logistics, which is in line with the strict requirements of the European market for decarbonization of the supply chain.

Deliver impressive data

According to Chen Wei, President of GOTION China Business, the battery cell products supplied by the Hefei base to Europe are known for their excellent fast charging performance, high system integration, and strong safety and stability, and have formed a normalized scale of export. In the first six months of 2026 alone, the number of battery cells sent by the base to European customers exceeded 15 million, and it is expected that the cumulative delivery for the whole year will exceed 30 million. Previously, this type of bulk export relied heavily on sea and air transportation. This land direct delivery is a new multimodal transportation option developed by the company based on urgent customer needs and proactive exploration. It is also an important practice for upgrading its logistics resilience.

Traveling thousands of miles to Barcelona

The first team will depart from Hefei, exit through the Alashankou Port in Xinjiang, and eventually cross about 12800 kilometers to reach Barcelona, Spain.
