In the valley of Jalalabad Oblast, Kyrgyzstan, machines roar on the construction site of the China Kyrgyzstan Uzbekistan railway. Nurjaze, a 31 year old Kyrgyz youth, is fighting alongside Chinese partners, sweating for this future oriented steel Silk Road. The builders of China and Kyrgyzstan are replacing the camel bells of the ancient Silk Road with the roar of modern transportation, from the northern ring road of Bishkek to the cross-border road from Balskon to Bederi, from Lake Issyk Kul to the Chu River Valley.

Accelerate the advancement of the Steel Silk Road

In December 2024, the launch ceremony of the China Kyrgyzstan Uzbekistan railway project was held in Kyrgyzstan.   The deputy manager of the Uzbekistan construction party stated that they have learned a lot of Chinese original technology and experience in railway construction. With the support of the Chinese side, Manas City in Kyrgyzstan has opened a school to cultivate railway professionals, and students will have the opportunity to further their studies in China. After the railway is built, it can not only cultivate talents and drive economic growth, but also contribute to the long-term development of the country.

Bie Dieli Port is revitalized

The Port of Biedeli is one of the key nodes for China's connectivity with Central Asia.   From the port to the village of Balskon in the Issyk Kul region, builders from both countries are building a new cross-border road to promote the full opening of the Biedieli port. The high-altitude tunnels along the route are under construction, and Chinese partners represent the high-tech and high-level construction of roads and tunnels. Local residents yearn for a better life after the completion of this highway, believing that the road will improve people's lives. The Ring Road connects the Three Kingdoms

After the completion of the construction of the northern ring road in Bishkek, it will effectively divert transit freight and passenger vehicles, help solve the problem of local traffic congestion, and improve the urban ecological environment and logistics transportation conditions.
