In 2026, the pattern of computing power and encryption industry in Central Asia will face a key variable. Karakalpakstan, Uzbekistan officially launched six mining and data center projects with a total value of over 5 billion US dollars. Relying on local exclusive policies and energy advantages, this region is rapidly rising as a new hub of encryption computing power in Central Asia and even Eurasia.
5.1 billion US dollar project cluster landing
This batch of synchronously launched projects includes three mining projects and three large data centers, with a total investment scale of 5.11 billion US dollars. Uzbekistan's President Mirziyoyev attended the project launch ceremony. Amanbai Olinbaev, Chairman of the Karakalpakstan People's Committee, stated that the existing supporting conditions in the area are sufficient to support the high-quality implementation of the project, and the regional investment quality and industrial landing standards will be upgraded synchronously.

Based on the latest data on the global encryption computing power industry in 2026, the proportion of encryption computing power in Central Asia has rapidly risen to 17% globally. The Beskara Mining Valley Special Zone launched by Karakalpakstan is a super large encryption industry park covering the entire administrative region worldwide.
According to the presidential decree, the entire Karakalpakstan region is included in the special zone, allowing the use of the national unified energy system, renewable energy, and hydrogen power plants for related businesses. All mining income in the special zone is tax-free, and the preferential policy will continue until January 1, 2035. A specialized management department has also been established locally, and the national promising project agency will issue mining licenses uniformly, greatly simplifying the entire approval process.
