On August 30, 2026, the independent energy storage power station covering an area of 55 acres officially started construction, and the green power supply and demand bottleneck in the Liaonan high load industrial belt finally ushered in a practical solution.
The landing of energy storage nodes around the Bohai Sea
The project is invested and constructed by Beijing Guozong Green Energy Comprehensive Energy Service Co., Ltd. It is one of the key projects to promote grid connection in the second half of its national energy storage layout. The local refractory material industry cluster in Dashiqiao has a large scale, with high energy consuming industrial loads concentrated. The peak shaving gap caused by the rapid growth of wind and solar installed capacity has long existed.

Based on the mature power grid infrastructure in the local area, the project will be fully integrated into multiple power trading scenarios such as grid peak shaving, electricity spot trading, and auxiliary services after it is put into operation. It will directly fill the gap in the peak shaving capacity of the local power grid, smooth out the random fluctuations of new energy output, and enable stable storage and efficient transmission of surplus green electricity in the local area.
The implementation of industrial carbon reduction value
This power station also serves as a "super regulator" for the regional power grid, which can hedge the peak fluctuations of industrial electricity consumption and the gap of new energy generation in both directions, greatly improving the safety and resilience of the local power grid in southern Liaoning. After the project reaches its production capacity, it can promote the consumption of 210 million kilowatt hours of new energy electricity annually, saving 64000 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 165000 tons annually, equivalent to the carbon absorption of 9 million new trees every year.
