Recently, the key control project of Songhua River Extra Large Bridge in the northern ring road of Harbin metropolitan area from Yongyuan to Shuangjing has been completed. The construction of the ring road has achieved a significant breakthrough in the most difficult cross river construction link, laying a solid foundation for the opening of the entire line.

The total length of the North Ring Yongyuan to Shuangjing section of the Harbin Urban Circle Ring Expressway, which the company is responsible for constructing, is 2.124 kilometers. The construction scope covers the main channel bridge of the Songhua River Grand Bridge and the 43 span approach bridge. The Songhua River Grand Bridge, as the core control project of this project, has a total length of 4668.5 meters and includes a main channel bridge, a backup channel bridge, and a bridge spanning the waterfront avenue. The main channel bridge of this bridge adopts a flying swallow style mid span tie rod basket arch structure, which is currently the largest arch bridge in Heilongjiang Province. The completion of the Songhua River Grand Bridge has laid an important foundation for the full opening of the Harbin metropolitan area loop.
