On the construction site of Donglin Industrial Park in Malaysia, the pile foundation equipment of the third phase factory has officially started operation. The key node of EVE's overseas production capacity layout has been achieved, and this energy storage battery factory with a planned annual production capacity of 38 GWh will form synergy with the already operated Phase I and Phase II projects, adding new variables to the supply pattern of the global energy storage market.

Capacity Matrix Expansion in Southeast Asia
The total construction area of the Phase III project is approximately 200000 square meters, with a planned annual output of 38GWh of energy storage batteries. The construction includes a battery cell factory, a chemical workshop, a lithium manganese factory, a lithium Asia factory, as well as a complete set of supporting buildings such as a power station, substation, and fire center. Previously, EVE's first phase factory in Malaysia focused on the production of cylindrical batteries, with an annual capacity of 680 million units. The second phase project focused on the energy storage battery track, and the third phase project will directly complete the production capacity loop of multi category lithium battery manufacturing in Southeast Asia after landing.
Relying on the location advantage of localized production, this base will cover the Asian market and radiate globally, significantly shortening the response cycle of overseas orders and building a unique competitiveness in regional costs and nearby services.
Energy storage shipments remain second in the world
Based on the latest financial report data for the first half of 2026, EVE achieved operating revenue of 45.691 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 62.2%, net profit attributable to the parent company of 3.301 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 105.66%, basic earnings per share of 1.57 yuan, and plans to distribute a cash dividend of 2.3 yuan per 10 shares. On a domestic scale, the company has completed site selection for the addition of approximately 260GWh of large lithium iron production capacity in Guangdong, Hubei, Jiangsu, Fujian, Zhejiang and other places, and will promote it step by step based on market demand. According to statistics from SNE Research in South Korea for the first half of 2026, the shipment volume of EVE energy storage batteries remains the second largest in the world. The construction of the third phase factory in Malaysia will further solidify its dual line layout advantage of global production capacity and build a long-term growth overseas second pole.Editor/Cheng Liting
