Ulaanbaatar suffers from severe cold and prominent pollution all year round, and there is an urgent need for energy and transportation upgrades. Mature new energy solutions are urgently needed to solve the problems of urban development.
Recently, BYD's Fudi Battery signed a strategic cooperation memorandum of understanding with Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, and representatives from both sides completed the formal signing, opening up comprehensive new energy cooperation at the city level. This cooperation breaks away from the single device export mode and outputs an integrated green city solution for transportation, energy storage, and infrastructure.
The cooperation covers four major directions: promotion of electric vehicles, construction of fast charging networks, implementation of energy storage systems, and construction of smart rail transit. It aims to address pain points such as unstable local power supply, winter pollution, and insufficient supporting facilities. This framework signing marks the shift of domestic new energy exports from individual product output to overall solution output, and will provide replicable experience for green transformation in the high-altitude regions of North Asia.Editor/Min Jing
