Tall buildings are rising from the yellow sand desert, and new cities along the Mediterranean coast are growing at an accelerated pace. On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Egypt, CSCEC has been rooted in Egypt for ten years, transforming cooperation blueprints into practical projects. While deepening infrastructure construction, it has written a touching chapter of cultural integration between the two countries.

Building Cities in the Desert

About 50 kilometers east of Cairo in the desert area, the new administrative capital, the Central Business District, constructed by CSCEC, has risen from the ground. The project covers an area of 628000 square meters, with a total construction area of 1.92 million square meters. The 385.8 meter landmark tower is known as the tallest building in Africa. Faced with the harsh environment of high temperatures in the desert, Chinese and Egyptian builders worked together to overcome the challenges and set multiple regional construction records. The project has established the first Luban College overseas, conducting over 300 training sessions and 25 training courses, covering more than 10000 people, and cultivating over 6000 technical talents for the local area, truly achieving the goal of teaching people how to fish.

Binhai Dreaming

The Alaman New City, facing the Mediterranean Sea, is an important carrier for Egypt to implement its 2030 vision. The 291.82-meter marker tower of the project has a unique shape, and the construction difficulty of the double large variable curvature inclined columns is extremely high. The team's layered iterative construction plan is steadily advancing the construction. At present, the main structures of four residential buildings and one landmark tower have been completed. The localization rate of the project has reached 83.79%, directly creating tens of thousands of job opportunities. Egyptian employees have spontaneously opened Chinese language classes, and employees from both countries have enhanced their friendship through exchanges.
