Recently, the emergency facility project of Kiribati Central Hospital, undertaken by CRFG, was completed. President Ma Mao personally cut the ribbon at the scene, and more than 200 people including the Chinese Embassy in Kiribati, the aid medical team, local residents, and participating employees witnessed the landing of this "life-saving project at the doorstep".

Presidential ribbon cutting celebration for completion

On the day of the ceremony, the Tarawa Central Hospital was bustling with activity both inside and outside. President Ma Mao cut the ribbon for the project to be put into use, and Li Xianlin, the chief accountant of CRFG, as a representative of the participating parties, participated in the traditional cake cutting process with all parties. Health Minister Nawan and Infrastructure Minister Taras were all present. The elderly association, church representatives, medical staff, and community residents dressed in distinctive costumes, sang and danced, and welcomed this small building in the simplest way possible. For many Kiribati families, emergency care no longer means' delay if possible ', but' someone comes to rescue immediately '.

350 square meters to make up for shortcomings

This new facility is located within TCH Central Hospital and is a single story reinforced concrete frame structure with a building area of approximately 350 square meters. It has 8 functional areas and 2 ambulance parking areas. Despite its small size, it directly fills the weakest link in the local emergency hardware. In the past, medical resources in island countries were already scarce, and sudden injuries, pediatric emergencies, and pregnancy and childbirth risks were often limited by the layout of reception space and equipment. After the new building is put into use, the connection between triage, rescue, observation, and transportation will be smoother. Ambulances can directly dock, and the efficiency of emergency treatment and reception will be significantly improved. As Na Wan said, this is a key project for the government to improve people's livelihoods, and Chinese enterprises have written "professionalism" and "responsibility" into concrete.

Seven years of deep cultivation and friendship

Since entering the Kiribati market in 2019, CRFG has promoted the implementation of multiple key infrastructure projects, from roads and bridges to supporting livelihoods. In his speech, Li Xianlin thanked the governments and people at all levels of Kiribati for their support, emphasizing that the company has always followed the idea of consultation, co construction, and sharing, and turned the project into a concrete result of China Kiribati friendship. In addition to the Central Hospital project itself, the Chinese aid medical team, education team, and police team also made a collective appearance on site - in addition to the small building, it is a complete set of "Chinese partners around" livelihood cooperation network.

From a drawing to a 350 square meter life passage, from a foreign construction site to the applause of the President, CRFG built an emergency defense line with steel and cement, which also made the the Belt and Road in the Pacific Island the most authentic footnote: not a grand slogan, but patients wait 10 minutes less, ambulances have an extra berth, and doctors are next door when children have a fever.keywords:Engineering infrastructure

As night falls, the waves of Tarawa remain. The incandescent lamps of the new emergency building shine on the uniforms of medical staff and also on the smiles on the faces of residents - this small building is not big, but it can hold countless moments of life that have been steadily captured.Editor/Yang Meiling
