At the groundbreaking site of the project in Luoshe Town, Huishan High tech Zone, Wuxi, three embodied intelligent prototypes equipped with tactile feedback modules were lined up in a row, and the sound of engineering vehicles honking opened a new chapter in the domestic automobile manufacturing embodied intelligent track.

On September 5, 2026, Tianqi Group's embodied intelligent robot industry project, with a total investment of over 1 billion yuan, officially started construction. This old listed enterprise with 42 years of automotive equipment manufacturing experience has identified embodied intelligence as a strategic new engine and built a new industrial carrier for the deep integration of automotive intelligent manufacturing and cutting-edge robot technology on more than 70 acres of land. According to the latest data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's 2026 White Paper on the Progress of Industrial Tailored Intelligence Implementation, the number of embodied intelligence projects implemented in domestic automotive manufacturing scenarios has increased by 127% year-on-year, and automotive production lines have become the industrial scenario with the fastest penetration rate of embodied intelligence technology.

Dual base layout connects the entire chain capability

The project plans to establish an intelligent manufacturing base for automotive equipment and a research and development center for embodied intelligent systems for the automotive industry. After completion, it will greatly enhance the flexibility design capability of automotive intelligent equipment and achieve large-scale independent production of automotive coating process equipment.

Based on the accumulated multimodal effective data of over 8000 hours of automotive production lines, the project will reconstruct the business logic of automotive equipment with "embodied intelligence+", build a new generation of industrial competitiveness centered on data and algorithms, and continue to consolidate its leading advantage in the field of automotive intelligent equipment. As of the first half of 2026, Tianqi Co., Ltd. has served a total of over 92 intelligent production lines for domestic car companies, covering all top new force brands.

Continuous extension of industrial ecology throughout the entire lifecycle

Tianqi Co., Ltd. was established in 1984 and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2004. Currently, it has formed three core businesses: intelligent equipment, lithium battery recycling, and embodied intelligence. Its business covers 34 provincial-level administrative regions across the country and radiates to more than 40 countries and regions around the world. It has won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award.

After the implementation of the new project, it will further connect the full value cycle of automobiles from production and manufacturing to recycling and regeneration, and cooperate with the resources of 37 global automotive Tier1 giants that have already landed in Huishan to achieve millisecond level industry university research feedback from problem discovery on the production line, algorithm iteration on the same day, and on-site closed-loop verification, injecting hardcore scientific and technological innovation momentum into Huishan High tech Zone's competition for future industrial new tracks.
