On the construction site of Dongguan Binhai Bay New Area Precision Intelligent Manufacturing Science and Technology Innovation Park, the first engineering pile driver landed steadily, and the Leadshine South China Regional Headquarters and Humanoid Robot Core Component R&D Intelligent Manufacturing Base project officially started construction.

As a major industrial project at the municipal level in Dongguan in 2026, this new base with a total investment of 500 million yuan will supplement the key production capacity of core motion control components for the humanoid robot industry in the core area of the Pearl River Delta. As of mid September, all temporary construction of the project site has been completed, and the preliminary selection of the first batch of production equipment has been launched simultaneously.

75000 square meters of smart manufacturing space landed

The total construction area of the project is about 75000 square meters, including office and research and development buildings, modern production plants, and supporting underground spaces. After completion, it will fully integrate the operational resources of Leisai Intelligence in the South China region, forming a regional headquarters integrating operation management, research and development manufacturing.

After the base is put into operation, it will achieve a large-scale production capacity of 5 million servo motors, 10 million drivers, and 4 million controllers per year, with an expected annual output value of 3.5 to 4 billion yuan, significantly increasing the self-produced scale of core components for humanoid robots.

Relying on the well-established manufacturing supporting system in the Pearl River Delta, the new base will achieve comprehensive cost reduction and efficiency improvement in the supply chain through large-scale production, and build a competitive barrier for domestic substitution of core components of humanoid robots.
