In the intelligent manufacturing workshop of Liudong New District, Liuzhou, a humanoid robot is extending its robotic arm to complete material palletizing. The collaborative robotic arm next to it precisely locks the last screw, and a brand new Walker S industrial humanoid robot is officially offline. With the official production of the Ubiquitous Liuzhou Super Smart Factory, the scene of using robots to build robots in science fiction works has become a real-life production routine.

In the first half of 2026, the global proportion of domestic humanoid robot shipments reached 97%. The landing of this world's first benchmark factory with 10000 units directly pushed the scale production capability of domestic humanoid robots to the top tier in the world.

Offline production of a complete machine in 10 minutes

This super factory covers an area of 14000 square meters and produces two major series of industrial humanoid robots, Walker S and Cruzer. The design cycle can produce one complete machine every 10 minutes, and the annual planned production capacity exceeds 10000 units.

The humanoid robots in the workshop independently complete the tasks of unpacking, palletizing, and material loading. The collaborative robotic arm cooperates with a 360 degree rotating fixture to perform precise operations. More than 2000 screws of different specifications that need to be tightened for a single machine are automatically assembled. AGV cars and unmanned forklifts are responsible for material transportation throughout the process, and finished products are directly sent to a fully automated three-dimensional warehouse for storage. The automation rate of the entire production line far exceeds that of traditional industrial equipment production lines.

Digital Twin Cracking Mass Production Pain Points

Ubiquitous collaborates with Siemens to create an exclusive digital intelligent manufacturing base, using digital twin technology to complete 1:1 virtual modeling of all workshop workstation equipment. The entire process of raw material storage, semi-finished product transportation, and finished product outbound is first simulated and verified in the simulation system, and then implemented on the real production line.

The factory adopts a flexible hybrid production line mode, which allows for quick switching of production tasks between different models without the need for large-scale hardware modifications. Each factory robot is bound with an independent SN code, and all component sources, assembly parameters, and inspection records can be traced throughout the entire process, completely solving the production problems of humanoid robots with multiple components, high assembly accuracy, and fast iteration speed. The production of this super factory, from prototype machines in the laboratory to mass production lines of tens of thousands of units in the workshop, marks the official breakthrough of the domestic humanoid robot industry in small-scale trial production, entering a new stage of development of scale and standardization.Editor/Cheng Liting
