On September 12, 2026, Serbian President Vu č i ć inspected the construction site of the Karacholje Leadership Corridor Expressway project undertaken by Chinese enterprises. President Vu č i ć stated that the completion of the Karacholje Leadership Corridor will connect Belgrade and central Serbia, further improving Serbia's transportation network and playing an important role in promoting local economic and social development.
