Samarkand, a millennium old Silk Road town, welcomes a special cross-border political party exchange event. This is the first time that the China Central Asia Political Parties Dialogue has been held abroad. Representatives of political party parliamentary think tanks from China and the five Central Asian countries gathered here, relying on inter party platforms to build consensus and promote regional cooperation in multiple fields.

Political parties build platforms

This dialogue will bring together the delegation of the CPC, as well as parliamentarians, diplomats and think tank experts from the political party leaders of the five Central Asian countries. Political party exchanges serve as a cornerstone of national relations, promoting the transformation of the consensus reached by the heads of state into tangible results for people's livelihoods. Various parties will exchange experiences on poverty reduction, digitalization, and anti-corruption in the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, rely on the legislative functions of political parties to improve supporting policies for economic, trade, and social governance, broaden cooperation boundaries, improve people's livelihoods and employment, and ensure that development achievements benefit ordinary people.

Hand in hand to protect stability

The current international situation is complex and ever-changing, and regional development faces various uncertainties. All parties present reached a consensus that the destinies and interests of all countries are interconnected. All parties should strengthen strategic communication, unite regional forces, jointly prevent extremist risks, safeguard regional sovereignty and security, adhere to sustainable security to support sustainable development, and maintain long-term peace and stability in Central Asia. Draw a new blueprint together

At the meeting, China proposed four cooperation initiatives, advocating for joint efforts to promote common modernization, build multidimensional communication networks, jointly respond to external risks, and cultivate youth friendly forces. From the ancient Silk Road's interconnectivity to today's joint efforts to build a community with a shared future for China and Central Asia, this conference uses mutual trust between political parties to drive national mutual trust, continues to strengthen cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, culture, and security, cultivates a foundation of friendship for generations, and continues to write a new chapter in Silk Road cooperation.Editor/Min Jing
