Amidst the vast desert sands, builders continue to fight in the southern desert of Egypt. On September 12, 2026, the main control building of the Neferti Independent Energy Storage Power Station in Egypt was successfully topped out. The largest independent energy storage project under construction in Africa, jointly contracted by CEEC and ENERGY CHINA ZTPC, has officially entered the construction phase with the milestone landing.

Tackle and protect nodes

After the project starts, multiple teams collaborate to promote the design, procurement, and construction work. On site monitoring of key processes such as steel reinforcement binding, formwork support, concrete pouring and curing, and on-site quality and safety control throughout the process. Faced with various difficulties caused by the cross operation of multiple teams on site, the team planned and coordinated in advance, resolved construction obstacles one by one, and steadily maintained the construction period target, completing the important milestone of the main control building's topping out on schedule.

Co construction promotes development

The project department deeply cultivates localization construction, absorbs a large number of local laborers to participate in engineering construction, and provides job skills training to promote local employment while promoting the implementation of the project. The project has an installed capacity of 500MW/1050MWh, which can smooth out fluctuations in new energy output after production, enhance the peak shaving and frequency regulation performance of the Egyptian power grid, support the implementation of Egypt's 2030 clean energy goals, and promote the construction of a green energy hub in North Africa.
