Gotion High tech has won the first batch of core orders for large-scale battery energy storage projects in Saudi Arabia, with a scale of 6GWh, providing a complete set of energy storage solutions for the three main energy storage sites in the local area. This batch of projects was signed by Saudi Electricity Procurement Company on August 20, 2026. The total scale of the four projects is 2GW/8GWh, with a single station capacity of 500MW/2GWh and an energy storage time of 4 hours. The total investment is about 1.16 billion US dollars, and the BOO construction and operation mode will be adopted. The agreement period is 15 years. The project is designed for local drought, sandstorm and large temperature difference conditions, equipped with Qianyuan Intelligent Energy Storage System. The equipment can operate stably in the range of -30 ℃ to 55 ℃, and is equipped with wind, sandstorm and high temperature protection schemes to ensure long-term reliable operation.
