Recently, the Executive Deputy Prime Minister of the Lao Government, Sharinsey Gomasi, led a delegation to Hong Kong to participate in the 11th the Belt and Road Summit Forum. With the theme of promoting high-quality development: opening a new journey along the the Belt and Road, the forum was opened by Li Jiachao, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. More than 6000 political and business representatives from more than 80 countries and regions attended the forum.

During the opening ceremony, Sha Lun Sai fully recognized the positioning of Hong Kong as a super contact and super value-added person. Shalun Sai said that Laos supports green innovation cooperation, which is in line with the country's tenth economic and social development plan. During the forum, Sha Lunsai held bilateral talks with Li Jiachao to discuss economic, trade, and investment cooperation.
