Relying on the platform of the China ASEAN Business and Investment Summit, the new the Belt and Road Economic and Trade Cooperation Promotion Conference is about to open. The event continues the mature model of previous years, links resources from multiple countries across the five continents, and showcases practical connections and unique features, continuously polishing Guangxi's golden signboard of opening up to the outside world.

Grand event expansion and upgrade

This economic and trade cooperation promotion conference will be held in Nanning, Guangxi on September 18, 2026, and is an important supporting event of the 23rd China ASEAN Business and Investment Summit. Since its establishment in 2024, the event has been held for two consecutive sessions, promoting the expansion of the cooperation scope of the summit from China ASEAN regional cooperation to the whole region the Belt and Road countries. This event is hosted by the Secretariat of the summit, focusing on multilateral economic and trade win-win cooperation. It brings together about 120 scholars and entrepreneurs from officials and business associations from five continents in China, and sets up a complete agenda with multiple links to build a full chain cooperation system.

Collaboration highlights are diverse

The guests of this promotion event cover high-level groups from multiple fields across five continents, with a wide range of participation and higher levels of cooperation. The event will complete a number of institutionalized cooperation, sign the institutional cooperation memorandum, award the plaque to the the Belt and Road Support Business Association of the Summit, and simultaneously release the Guangxi Enterprise Sailing Service Manual to provide all-round practical support for the international development of local enterprises. At the same time, five national docking zones will be set up to conduct one-on-one precise negotiations based on continents and countries, deepening docking and cooperation around trade, investment, production capacity, technology and other fields.
