On September 15, 2026, Madayn, the management agency of Oman's public industrial park, announced the launch of four new investment opportunities in the Sul Industrial City, involving medical services, vocational training, building material supply, and comprehensive residential facilities, in order to further improve the comprehensive service system of the industrial park and attract investment from the industrial and service industries. Compared with simply expanding industrial land, the investment project launched this time highlights the comprehensive supporting capacity construction of industrial parks, covering multiple aspects of enterprise employees' production and life, as well as park construction and operation, from medical care and training to housing and building material supply.

Four investments covering multiple fields
According to local media reports in Oman, the projects announced this time include the construction and operation of a medical service center, namely a private hospital, the construction and operation of a professional training center, the operation of a backfill material quarry, and the construction and operation of a comprehensive residential project. The relevant person in charge of Sul Industrial City stated that the medical service project plans to build comprehensive medical facilities to provide basic and supporting medical services for employees of park enterprises and surrounding residents. The professional training center will focus on meeting the needs of enterprises for technical talents and vocational skills training in the process of industrial development. From medical care and training to housing and building material supply, related projects cover multiple aspects of enterprise employees' production and life, as well as park construction and operation.

The demand for supporting facilities in the park continues to grow
In recent years, Oman has actively promoted diversified economic development. Oman's Vision 2040 proposes to further increase the proportion of non oil industries in the national economy, with manufacturing, logistics, tourism, mining, fisheries, and other key development areas. Industrial parks and special economic zones play an important role in undertaking industrial investment, developing export manufacturing, and attracting foreign capital. As manufacturing projects gradually enter the park, the demand for industries such as healthcare, housing, logistics, vocational education, and business services also increases. For the park, improving comprehensive services can not only improve the operating conditions of enterprises, but also help enhance its attractiveness to overseas investors and technical personnel. China Arab cooperation extends to segmented fields
At present, cooperation between China and Oman continues to deepen in areas such as energy, engineering construction, manufacturing, logistics, and infrastructure. Oman is located in the southeastern part of the Arabian Peninsula, connecting the Gulf, Indian Ocean, and South Asian markets. It also has ports and industrial parks such as Suhar, Dukum, and Salalah, with outstanding geographical conditions. Industry insiders believe that with the deepening of industrialization and economic diversification in Oman, market opportunities are extending from large-scale energy and industrial projects to park support, professional services, small and medium-sized manufacturing, and life services. Segmented markets such as healthcare, training, housing, building materials, and logistics are expected to generate new investment demands along with the construction of industrial parks.Editor/Gao Xue
