On September 18th, the completion ceremony of China's rural water conservancy project in Togo was held in the plateau area. Ambassador Wang Min, Minister of Multi water Resources and Cleaning Alipui, and Governor of Plateau District Maganawi attended and delivered speeches. More than 400 people attended the ceremony, including mayors of cities in Plateau District, project construction unit middling coal, villagers and students.

Ambassador Wang stated that water is the source of life and the foundation of development. The 305 water wells assisted by China were delivered and put into use after a year and a half, benefiting over 170000 villagers in more than 300 villages. This is a successful practice of implementing the important consensus between the leaders of the two countries and a vivid interpretation of China and Africa's joint efforts to promote modernization. China will implement more projects that benefit people's livelihoods and warm their hearts, benefiting the local population.

Alipuy, on behalf of the Togolese government, sincerely thanks China for helping the Togolese people improve drinking water safety and assist in agricultural production. He will do a good job in subsequent operation and maintenance to ensure that the wells continue to play their role effectively.

Women and children cheered, sang and danced, expressing their gratitude for not forgetting the people who dug the well while drinking water.
