On the construction site of Jingzhang'ao Park in Xuanhua Economic Development Zone, the first pile driver steadily penetrated into the soil layer, and the Feituo Low Carbon Green Big Data Industrial Base project officially started construction. On this land adjacent to the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region, a green intelligent computing hub with a scale of 160000 P is gradually being realized from the planning drawings.

Clear project construction milestones

The total investment of the project is 6 billion yuan, with a planned land area of about 190.21 acres and a total construction area of about 170400 square meters. It will be promoted in four phases as a whole. At present, the first phase has entered the comprehensive construction stage, including 2 data centers, 1 110KV substation, 1 operation and maintenance building, and supporting guard room. According to the current construction pace, it is expected that the main structure will be capped by the end of November this year.

The project relies on the green power advantage of Zhangjiakou Renewable Energy Demonstration Zone to build an integrated system of source, grid, load and storage. 80% of the electricity is supplied by wind and photovoltaic green power, and the PUE is controlled below 1.15 with liquid cooling technology, significantly leading the average energy efficiency level of domestic data centers.

Further improve the computing power ecosystem around Beijing

As a key milestone in the layout of Feituo Digital Intelligence's green computing hub around Beijing, the project will form a large-scale green intelligent computing platform of approximately 160000 P after completion. Unlike the traditional data center, which only provides computer room and computing power leasing, the base will open up the full chain capabilities of computing power scheduling and AI application enabling, and provide customers in the fields of Internet manufacturers, biomedicine, financial technology, high-end manufacturing, etc. with full scene computing power support such as large model training reasoning, data storage, etc.

The current gap in intelligent computing power in the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region continues to widen. Zhangjiakou, as the core carrier of the Beijing Tianjin Hebei hub, saw a year-on-year increase of 52.47% in the city's computing power consumption in the first seven months. The green power direct connection mode has covered four local computing power projects, and the landing of this base will further strengthen the regional computing power supply capacity, filling the key green computing power gap for the upgrading of the Beijing Tianjin Hebei digital economy.
