Recently, Wang Hongzhi, Director General of the National Energy Administration of China, met with Simon Watts, Minister of Climate Change of New Zealand, who was attending the 16th APEC Energy Ministers' Meeting in Beijing. The two sides exchanged views on cooperation in the field of new energy between China and the United States.

Wang Hongzhi stated that China and Singapore have similar energy development goals, strong industrial complementarity, and broad cooperation space. He is willing to strengthen policy dialogue and industrial exchanges with Singapore, fully unleash the potential of cooperation between the two sides, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

Woz stated that New Zealand has vigorously developed renewable energy in recent years and has established good cooperation with China.
