The sea breeze of the Baltic Sea swept over the plains of Poland, driving the engine of the green hydrogen industry. When China's smart made electrolytic cells meet the green ambitions of Central and Eastern Europe, a zero carbon link spanning the Eurasian continent is quietly weaving.

On September 22, 2026, Sungrow Hydrogen, in collaboration with Polish partner DOT Engineering, signed a contract with Promet Plast S.A. to supply a 21 MW PEM electrolyzer system for the RFNBO green hydrogen project in Poland. This is currently the largest PEM electrolyzer order in Poland.

Project Overview and Capacity

The project is located in Gai Ovavsky, with the construction of a 49.36 MW wind and solar power station, which utilizes renewable energy to produce green hydrogen. The project can produce 1701 tons of RFNBO compliant green hydrogen annually, which will be used in the fields of transportation and natural gas blending, with an annual carbon reduction of over 57000 tons. Sunshine Hydrogen Energy will collaborate with the general contractor ELQ S.A. to adapt to European new energy scenarios through flexible hydrogen production solutions, ensuring stable project operation. Multiple overseas projects landing

After the implementation of the benchmark project for off grid PEM hydrogen production in Italy, Sungrow Hydrogen continues to deepen its presence in the European market. At present, the business has expanded to more than 10 countries, and the total order volume of electrolytic cells has exceeded 1GW.
